They both got the sample tray which gave you a sample size of what ever beer you wanted to try for only $10 ๐ That is a pretty good deal!
I came up with the amazingly great idea to get ramen together since we were in Toronto and it more or less is the only place you can get ramen! >.< So We ordered the nacho plate to tide us over before ramen then we headed out!
It was a bit of a walk to get to the Ramen shop but it was so worth it in the end! It was so cold outside walking through china town but once we all got inside, had tea and got our ramen it was the best feeling in the world!
I ordered the same thing I ordered the last time we went to a Ramen shop and got the pork and miso ramen. We tired out the top rated ramen shop this time because last time we tried out Kenzo which was the second highest rated place. I will be honest. I liked Kenzo better only because I liked the noodles better! These noodles at Ajisen Ramen reminded me of spaghetti noodles and I thought I should be eating pasta not ramen! Kenzos seemed more thin and like a egg noodle. Which I preferred! But the flavours at both were to dye for! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
Kyle got the pork rib ramen which is the number one seller there! Apparently it is high in collagen! Kyle wasn’t a big fan of it because the rib meat was tough to eat because it had so much chunks in it and he didn’t want to eat the gross parts! But he overall loved the taste!
I am a fail and can never finish a bowl of ramen so I only managed to eat half! ๐ If we had driven and not walked I would have taken the rest home but we had a long, cold walk a head of us so I didn’t bring back my left overs.
