23YearsOld Badecasil Cream Review (June 2015)
So today I am sharing my full experience with a product called Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 by 23YearsOld.
A product designed to fight against pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, flaking dry skin as well as fade acne scars and reduce wrinkles! Amazing right?!
PRODUCT CLAIMS
The 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 Cream claims to be an all in 1 skin-perfecting products that:
+ Maintains Optimal Moisture Balance
+ Provides an excellent moisture drink for the skin
+ Made with Jeju Carbon Thermal Water which is great for sensitive skin
+ Works will ALL skin types
+ Reduces the appearance of pigmentation and acne scars
+ Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
+ Create a softer more smooth skin
That is a lot of skin benefits! But does it really hold up to all it claims?
This was a question I was really looking forward to finding out as I tend to need everything this product claims to provide.
INGREDIENTS
This is what really drew me into this product. The ingredients of it where everything I was looking for in a chemical exfoliating ace scar healing product. My main interest being the high percentage of Glycolic Acid at a total of 4%. I have previously used 8% in the past and it was a miracle product for curing my acne scars!
The Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 contains the following ingredients:
Water,Butylene Glycol, Onsen-Sui, Glycolic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Betaine Salicylate, Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate,Glyceryl Stearate SE, Potassium Hydroxide, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Disodium EDTA, Bacopa Monniera Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Xanthan Gum,Allantoin, Panthenol
Exfoliant Info
Type: AHA and BHA
Active ingredients: Glycolic acid (4%), betaine salicylate (2%)
pH: 3.29
The ingredients are very similar to what I loved from my Reversa Anti-Spot Night Cream 8% Glycolic Acid I used to use when I lived in Canada. I was very excited to start using and testing this product on my acne and acne scars.
TEXTURE & APPLICATION
Inย my skincare routine, I like to use this before any thicker products since it is an active ingredient, I want it to be one of the 1st products applied after cleansing and toning.
Because it is a 4% glycolic acid, this cream gives a brief tingling sensation when freshly applied to the face if you are more on the sensitive side.
I look at this reaction as a sign that it is working! However, if the tingling becomes painful or does not stop tingling after several minutes, wash off the product or try mixing it with another cream to dilute it until your skin can adjust to glycolic acid.
MY EXPERIENCE
I had a bad reaction to a new foundation that gave me lots of pimples and acne scars.
In just one night, my pimples I still had started to shrink which was amazing! So I made sure to take a before photo before going to bed.
In only 2 weeks, my pimples went flat and my acne scars significantly faded away!
OVERALL
Not only did it work amazing at getting rid of acne scars, but it also kept my skin well moisturized!
I honestly can say the 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 Cream has become a new holy grail acne scar fading product in my skincare routine.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ย to anyone suffering from dry sensitive acne prone skin that has acne scars.

June 1, 2015 at 7:28 pmHi there, I have a question! Can I use this product every night for long term use? I think I have combo skin, dry and oily skin. Therefore, oil tends to get clogged under the surface of my skin causing fleshy bumps and dull skin. I need something that will take that away and really hydrate my skin at the same time. Can this product do that? I don’t really get acne, just the clogged pores.

June 2, 2015 at 1:05 amYes of course! I use this every night! It has really helped my skin not only to get rid of my scars but to control my closed comedones under the skin. I too also have that as a skin issue. My type of acne is always under the skin.
I highly recommend it ๐

June 6, 2015 at 1:59 pmHi, can I use it every night? Or only few times a week? Thanks ๐
biibiibeauty
June 15, 2015 at 1:41 amIf you have never used glycolic acid before, start with only once or twice a week.
If you skin is okay, you can bump it up to 3 times a week or every night.
I use mine every night since I have been using glycolic acid product for almost 4 years now.

June 14, 2015 at 9:33 amHi, would you say this works on old acne scarring? I’ve had my scars for about 2 years now and was wondering if this product can help. Thank you
biibiibeauty
June 15, 2015 at 1:40 amYes of course!
I originally (3 years ago) started using glycolic acid products on 1-2 year old acne scars and it worked very well for me!
Highly recommended!

September 24, 2015 at 2:28 amHi again,
I read the comment above, but she stated her skin was a combo skin type. So would this product be ok for a oily skin type? Im changing my skin care routine. And i need to look for a good toner too. Any recommendations? Thanks agian ๐
biibiibeauty
September 24, 2015 at 2:46 amHi, yes his is good for any skin type, even oily.
For toner, I recommend using something for pore care if you have oily skin.
Try using the This toner http://goo.gl/DyJQ4g , it is great for tightening pores, controlling oil but still being gentle on the skin ๐

September 24, 2015 at 3:10 amThank you. Buying all those products, hopefully i don’t break out. My skin tends to break out if i use any new skin care product. Thanks again. A new subscriber from newyork ๐

December 9, 2015 at 6:14 amHi,
I have been following your vlog & blogs for some time and love reading your informative contents.
I have acne and acne marks and combination skin. I’m thinking of purchasing this as a moisturizer. How can I incorporate this into my skincare routine as I’ve recently just bought Cosrx BHA liquid & AHA liquid? Also, I’m thinking of using Skinmiso’s Spot Repairing Serum for the raw acne wounds too. Are any of these products contradicting or redundant or do they serve different purposes?
Thanks in advance!

December 29, 2015 at 12:01 pmI have had a lot of closed comedones on my forehead and two cheeks since I was in grade 9th or 10th ๐ And now I’m sophomore at university. I don’t know if this product will work for me. At the moment, I’m using apple cider vinegar toner and Innisfree green tea products but I think they don’t make any changes . I’ve also used tretinoin 0.05% for 2 weeks and closed comedones are getting more and more. I need your advice ๐

January 15, 2016 at 5:17 pmHi,
You can start trying aha and bha products. However since you are currently using a prescription topical, I would go back and discuss this with your dr.

November 3, 2016 at 3:10 amHi BiiBio,
Love you posts and videos on YouTube….very imformative!! I have just tried this product for the first time tonight and I didnt experience any tingling or burning sensation. Is this bad? Should I be feeling some sort of tingle? I know every persons skin is different, but I’m always apprehensive when buying products and if they dont do what every one else says they do to them, I worry mine is a fake. Lol. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.
biibiibeauty
November 18, 2016 at 12:52 pmIf your skin didn’t burn or tingle then thats a good thing. Means your not sensitive to it ๐ If you bought from Wishtrend then it wont be a fake ๐

June 8, 2017 at 2:31 amHi:) I really love the cream too. But it doesn’t available on wishtrend anymore T.T I saw it on amazon but I worry about the authenticity of the product. Do you know anywhere I can get this? Thanks so much<3

June 18, 2018 at 1:31 pmHi love, as this article is from 2015, it is quite outdated. 23YearsOld has gone through multiple rebranding which has made the product look very different, but the product is still authentic and the same. You can purchase the authentic updated packaging of this cream by clicking here on amazon.com

July 18, 2017 at 6:19 pmHi ? there. My skin problem is I have big pores, is this product would be reduce it or wouldn’t?
Bronwyn Papineau (BiiBiiBeauty)
August 6, 2017 at 2:51 pmThis cream has no function or claims for helping reduce pore size. Try the Skinmiso brand instead. ๐

August 15, 2017 at 6:37 pmhi i used this cream and it didn’t work for my skin. in fact my pimples become more. i try to google the effects after using it. because i thought maybe its the way the cream work. there are some products that let out all the acne/pimples first and later it will smooth. but in my case, the pimple become more obvious and many show up on my face esp on my forehead. ๐ what do you think?
Bronwyn Papineau (BiiBiiBeauty)
June 18, 2018 at 1:18 pmGlycolic acid can be harsh and irritating at first as it is a chemical exfoliant. Start with minimal use and if your skin can not adjust to it, then this product might be too harsh for your skin.

September 17, 2017 at 1:06 pmI have suffered from hormonal acne but has been cured luckily yes. Still gets a few acne bumps every time ill have my period like three maximum the moment they are about to start i use this as my spot treatment and does the amazing job ever. It calms the inflammed spot overnight and surprisingly they dont become scar after. Admit it everytime you have acne most of the time once they are healed either they are red scar or the dark one. Badecasil minimizes its becoming a scar. Loving it and will repurchase since tube is almost done.

October 15, 2017 at 5:35 amHello there, can use this as a night cream??
Bronwyn Papineau (BiiBiiBeauty)
June 18, 2018 at 1:10 pmYes, but it might not give the moisturizing results you’d normally get with a standard night cream. As this is an acid cream.

July 23, 2018 at 7:11 amBut most of the ingredients in it are comedogenic according to cosdna website..I’m worried if it would make my acne worse
Bronwyn Papineau (BiiBiiBeauty)
August 12, 2018 at 1:05 pmThis product has been reformulated since this review was made. ๐ If the new formula has some similar ingredients, generally, aha and bha unclogs the pores. Therefore, it can counteract the pore-clogging effects of some moisturizing ingredients. For myself, I’ve never experienced clogged pores with this product and in fact, the results were the opposite.
