Hi loves!
I personally have been an acne sufferer since I was 19. Now at the age of 23 I have experimented with many different products and have tested many different skincare routines and have finally gotten control over my acne and breakouts.
So I am here today to share with you my best secret to get rid of acne and big red pimples!
And it all is about anti inflammation.
What is acne?
Acne comes in many different forms and levels of severity. Today I will be providing a solution of papule acne. The most common types of acne that acne sufferers have. This type of pimple creates a red and sore inflammation on the skin. Commonly feels like a pimple that is trapped under the skin. This type of acne can be difficult to cure and get rid of because of the fact that it is under the skin. With the amount of inflammation it causes, it usually leads to PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or AKA acne dark scars).
How to get rid of Papule Acne
Papule acne on the face is not fun and is generally hard to get rid of. Common acne treatments usually wont work and will end up burning the skin, making the area red, dry and very irritated. Which can actually result in more breakouts around the papule are due to skin irritation.
To get rid of acne of this type, you want to calm and sooth the pimple, removing the inflammation that is making it irritated and red. And as of 1 year ago I found the perfect way to get rid of acne for cheap!
Anti-Inflammatory Gel
Yes, the gels that can be purchased at your local pharmacy or drugstore are the perfect way to get rid for acne. They do exactly what they are designed to do, get rid of painful inflammation on muscles and skin that can cause joint and muscle pain. However the miracle here is that they work to get rid of all types of inflammation including red painful pimple.
It makes sense right? Papule acne and pimples are technically inflammation of the skin, so you get rid of them by removing the inflammation!
It will get rid of acne overnight! Or sometimes in just a couple days! Feel a pimple coming? Put anti-inflammatory gel on the spot and the pimple will never become inflamed and will disappear.ย
It is much cheaper then actual brand pimple treatments, wont burn the skin, wont cause irritation to the skin and will get rid of acne fast!
I have been using this for 2 years now and without fail, it makes my red and painful pimples shrink and disappear. Now I swear by it and hope it can become a holy grail product for acne sufferers like me. Especially my fellow adult acne sufferers.
Not to mention, it also helps to prevent PIH!
What to Use?
Any anti-inflammatory gel will do just fine, but make sure that it is non-steroidal gel.ย I personally use Voltaren Anti-Inflammatory Gel in its original formula as it is gentle, effective and non-steroidal.
Have you used this before? If so, how did it work for you? let us know in the comments!

January 31, 2016 at 4:32 pmYou don’t need the same brand, but any muscle and joint anti-inflammatory gel. Just make sure it doesnt have steroids in it.

February 16, 2016 at 4:05 pmDid you buy this in Korea or did you bring it from home? I’m not confident that I can read the ingredients in Korean well enough to be sure that there are no steroids in other brands.

June 21, 2016 at 6:20 pmIve been following your skincare routine videos and acne story. I feel like you and I have the same skin type and skin problems. I was wondering, when during your skincare routine would you apply this gel?

September 16, 2016 at 5:08 pmFound this stuff at my grandmothers bc she gets it via prescription! Saw “sodium” and wondered if it would help on this stress induced acne cyst on my chin. It’s a lifesaver. FYI tho the tube does say “RX only” . I live in Dallas TX

June 3, 2017 at 8:35 pmHey I suffer with perioral dermatitis. The skin around my nose, mouth, chin was so sore and no other treatment was working that I decided to try voltaren gel on it just 3 days ago. Knowing that it was caused by inflamation of the skin I figured I had nothing to lose by giving it a go… 3 days later and it’s almost cleared up completely!!!! The pain, burning, stinging that was constant stopped within hours of using it and hasn’t returned. It was at the point of causing disruption in sleep due to the pain of it.
A couple more days and it will be 100% gone.
I was searching this evening to see if others had had success of tried this cure. Couldn’t find anything so decided to search if ppl had used it with acne. This is how I came across your page.
Somehow I don’t think the dermatologists will be pleased with this quick, easy, cheap and painless soloution. But it really does work
