Hello everyone and welcome to this Tuesdays Healthy Beauty Talk episode number 2! I know my video is a day late but I was having some major internet issue that made my video take 5 hours to upload and then youtube didn’t upload it in good quality, so it was a total waste of 5 hours of waiting ๐
So anyways! In todays episode I am going to share my personal secret to how I gained control over my meal portion sizes and managed to lose weight and maintain my weight with portion control.
Watch the video bellow to learn what I used to lose the weight and keep the weight off!
So how easy is that?! It isn’t hard to gain control over the amount of food you eat! Here are the key steps I mentioned in the video to gain portion control over what you eat.
- Use smaller plates. This simple technique limits you from over loading your plate so you don’t over eat, letting you control your portion sizes because overloading a small plate just looks ridiculous.
- Use the Lose It app. This app is a simple app and a life saver. It helps you gain portion control but it also helps you slowly learn to pay attention to your calorie intake and guiding you on the path to weight loss by using portion control methods and calorie counting in the easiest way possible!
These two steps are so easy and simple. If you can start using both of these methods to lose weight at once, then you will be successful very quickly to being a healthy more beautiful you. If both methods is too much at once, then start off by just using smaller plates, then after 1-2 weeks, start using the Lose It app in combination with smaller plate sizes.
Smaller portions will seem like not enough food at first, but that is because your stomach has been stretched out to be able to hold the large amount of foods you always intake. Over a short amount of time your stomach will revert back to the un-stretched out size it originally is, and smaller portions will be the perfect amount and you will no longer need to get up so seconds at every meal.
I naturally eat such small amounts of food now because I no longer eat large amounts of food at a fast pace. My body knows the amount of food it needs and feels full off of it because my stomach is no longer stretched out. I have gained control over my portion sizes and lost 10 lbs. You can do the same.
Good luck!
