Hello everyone! Along with a review of a brand new product this is also the official first review and announcement of my new sponsorship with Holika Holika Canada! Wooo!

In this review I will be showing you how to use the product and telling you what I love about it plus the video demonstration! 

So lets start!

First of all like most Holika Holika products, the packaging is super cute!  

The packaging is well informative on what the primer is meant to do and how to apply it. And of course the list of ingredients is available.

The bottle itself when taken out of its box is also super cute. The bottle fits perfect into the palm of your hand. Nothing too small or too big and instead of a chunky big cap, it comes with a sleek small cap, just enough to cover the pump.

The fact that this product comes with a pump is perfect! Pumps are always best for dispensing liquid products. 

What I immediately noticed and LOVED about the primer was that it wasn’t too thick or too thin of a consistency.

Which I love because your not using a load of product just to cover your face!

You only need a tiny amount to cover a large amount of area! The product is a perfect texture and spreads evenly onto the skin.

Here on my arm I have the product swatches and blended. 

At first but once you blend it in and wait 1-2 minutes the whiteness fades to match your skin tone better.

After you will notice the product has substantially faded into my skin tone. But don’t think this product is ridiculously light.

I work at a tanning salon and it is required that I am tanned, so my skin is much much darker then it naturally is 🙂

As you can see I am quite tanned 😛 But my face is a little lighter then my neck and body. This is my face without any BB cream, Foundation, Concealer, or Powders. Just my plain bare skin.

I apply the Primer after my daily skin care routine. 

Because that is the areas of my face that become oily during the day, especially when I work.

I start to blend the product all over my t-zone area then I blend it outwards onto the rest of my face.

You only need a small amount. I used a pea size amount on my finger and blotted it on my target areas.

Make sure you thoroughly massage the primer into the skin to help it absorb the best.

Once it is all worked into your skin make sure to at least wait 1-2 minutes to allow the primer time to properly absorb into your skin.

Not only does the 1-2 minutes make the primer adjust to your skin tone better, but it also lets the primer adhere better, giving you better results!

After the 2 minutes are up my skin has already adjusted to match better! 

But, since I am so tanned it still looks a little light on me, but that is not a problem!

Now that your primer is set you can continue with your makeup routine! 

Apply your BB cream or Foundation like you normally would.

Or you can even just apply some powder to set it!

For me I just use a darker face powder to set it and then my skin color matches perfectly again!

I am absolutely in love with this primer! I can’t even feel it on my skin like other primers and the best part about it is the fact it is oil and sebum controlling plus SPF 15!!

I tested this primer out 4 times before reviewing it. All doing stuff in my daily life that usually cause me to become oily.

Work: I wore this primer to work, you may think a tanning salon girl doesn’t have to do much but you are mistaken. I open and run the salon and opening the store requires me to clean the entire place top to bottom. I usually break out into a sweat during this time. I scrub, wipe, vacuum  mop, clean bathroom and many other stuff that require lots of sanitizing. Then I work for 4 hours. The primer lasted me all 4 hours of working after the cleaning and sweating! Usually my face gets super shiny throughout my shifts but my face looked great!

Cooking: I like to cook and I cook extravagant things. Slaving over a hot stove can get you oily or sweaty sometimes haha! The other day it was very hot outside and there was no aircon! It was sticky and damp and hot and then I decided to make kimchi fried rice! Oh boy did I get sweaty! yuk! But the primer kept my face from getting super shiny!
