How I Lost Weight!

hey loves! So here is the deal. In my first year of college my life got pretty dramatic. I blogged rarely because I had school and a lot of things were going on and changing in my life. I had a lot of deaths in my family and relatives with cancer signs so I was in quite a depressed state. None the less this all lead me to be someone I wasn’t which caused a lot of problems with my relationship which inevitably caused me to eat… and eat a lot of junk! I also ordered lunch from the college caf way too many times.
I was always petite and weighed around 104 lbs. During school I managed to get up to 112 lbs! That is a big step for someone like me. Some of you may think that is nothing but when you are as short as I am and naturally petite that can look like a big difference on my frame. Generally the less you naturally weigh, the harder it is to lose weight. So I tried to lose weight just by making my portions smaller, but it didn’t help, until I found the app called LoseIt!

It is a free app that basically is a way to keep track of your calorie intake based off of the foods you eat throughout your day! You find the foods you eat or what ingredients you used in your cooking and it calculates the calories within them. Helping you to keep track and lose weight with ease! I never used to consider calorie counting because it seemed like a lot of work but this was the easiest way to manage your weight and lose weight with no problem at all!

 You create your own goal and the app automatically determines based off the information you supplied  what your daily calorie intake should be. For example I created a new program for myself to get me down or close to 95 lbs so I can keep trimmed and looking good. You may think that is anorexic but I am only 5’1″….. I am very short with a small frame. My most flattering weight is in the range of 95 lbs to 102 lbs. I currently am 102 lbs thanks to my program before. My program before was to lose 10 lbs. I was 112 lbs and it only took me a month to loose 10 lbs and get to 102 lbs on this app! I got under my original weight! Now I made the new program to help me maintain my weight by constantly striving to be under!

I have been maintaining my weight very easily! I must admit I do need to do some toning workouts to tighten up those common problem areas! haha! Those damn inner thighs! 
 Here is an example of my log for the morning! I had some oatmeal for breakfast then went to the gym! Going to the gym allowed me to eat even more in my day! ๐Ÿ˜€ Which is a major bonus! 
The results!

I thinner more fit me! No more pouch on my tummy! Nice and flat! unless I am bloating ๐Ÿ˜› Which is never fun ahhahaha! My thighs no longer touch in the middle. And I feel a lot better about how I look ๐Ÿ™‚
If I did toning workouts I bet I would look even better but I am lazy!
I am showing you these shorts because I bought them in April. And in just under a month I no longer fit them snug. They became loose and That was before I even had the chance to wear them! by the time it got warm enough for shorts I already lost weight and my brand new shorts were too big! I wore them in the summer basically as comfy pajama style shorts.

What encouraged me to have my goal weight to be around 95 lbs? Xiaxue! She is my exact body type. Because of our shortness we tend to look fat when we are at the “ideal average” weight for our gender and age. But it doesn’t look healthy or fit. It looks like we are pudgy or on the fat side. Which isn’t fair. I saw a post that Xiaxue did showing how she lost weight. She used diet pills but I did not have the money for such things. So I found this app and already had a gym membership. I already did workout but it wasn’t giving me the results that I wanted fast enough! So setting my goals on loseit as high as I could manage was what I needed.

A major secret to my success was what I ate, Japanese food. I made homemade Japanese recipes that were on the healthier side. For a month I ate like that. Which allowed me to eat full sized meals at half the calories that a regular western style meal would provide. And I love most Japanese food. So this was perfect!

The second major things that helped me was suppressing my appetite. I am a consistent snacker. Which is horrible! I love to eat consistently! I just love food okay!!! Diet pills basically are just loaded with natural and man made appetite suppressants, soooo my way of cheating paying money for pills is using the most common form of appetite suppressants that almost every house hold has!

I drank about 3 cups of coffee a day! Or had one anytime I felt hungry or in need to snack when it wasn’t a appropriate time for a meal or if it didn’t fit into my loseit calorie budget.
But I know it isn’t good to drink too much coffee in one day! The next natural suppressant is:
Drinking plenty of water not only is what you need but it also is a natural appetite suppressant! Ontop of that when ever I was very hungry I would snack on cherry tomatoes and frozen raspberries until it was time for lunch or dinner ๐Ÿ™‚
I ate healthy, took natural appetite suppressants, ate smaller portions, home made Japanese food and kept track of my calories with the loseit app! In a month I successfully lost the 10 lbs of grossness I gained during those tough times. Once again I have the body I love back and feel great! Anyone can do it! If you don’t have a apple iphone, ipod touch or an android device then don’t worry! You can still use loseit on you computer through the website! And it is always free!
