For this episode I want to give you all just some quick tips on how to deal with all the food and alcohol temptations that come along with Valentines day. There will most likely be lots of food, chocolates, desserts, mixed drinks, wines and maybe even beer. These things can be very tempting but since we are trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle it is very important to not over indulge on these items.
The worst thing you can do this Valentines day is drink too much. Sure it is fun to relax and let loose once in a while, but those drinks are very very high in sugars and/or carbs which are your biggest enemies when it comes to achieve a healthy life style and controlling weight loss and fat percentage.
However some times in certain dinner situations it is customary to have wine so make sure you also order a large glass of water. You can have a few glasses of wine but make sure you drink enough water to compensate you alcohol intake.
Make sure you log everything you eat in your LoseIt app the night of or the next morning so you know if you went over or stayed in your calorie budget. If you went over, make sure you do 2 extra rounds of squats! So you burn of the extra stuff you took in!
Remember, it is okay to indulge every once in a while as a reward, but you have to remember to burn it off or else it get stored as fat and sets you backwards in your goals.
