Ya, it really does, I am not even lying, I have had other camera’s in the past and I super regret getting the camera I have today. It makes me look so…. deformed compared to what I look like in real life. It makes my nose look about 2 times the size it really is. Like my camera seriously is only good for 1 thing, and that is landscape shots. It isn’t even good for shots of products because it distorts them. Have you ever noticed before in my reviews that when I take images of product it looks like the product is bubbling out the middle sides? Ya……. The lens is so crap!
I have the Canon Powershot SX 120 IS and what I can say about it is it will make everything look bubbled or make your face ugly. It is only good for taking photos of nature more or less. Anything else and it just makes it look distorted… I’m not gonna lie. I loved this camera at first, the image quality was unreal compared to anything I owned before, Until I started taking self portraits, I started to think “woooow…. I got ugly…..” Then I thought…. “well if I am that weird looking then how come I look so damn good in the mirror and on my laptop camera”? But as soon as I bring out my real camera, I look ugly as f*ck in my pictures?!
I wish I could have returned my camera but by the time I realized it was the camera making me look gross it was too late. And it honestly is not because I am naturally ugly!!! I have done photo shoots and stuff with real top quality lenses! I am not ugly! My camera lens is just shit for taking pictures of people! ๐

So I found this lovely photo and post about how different lenses can more or less make a good looking person look… well ugly!
See bellow how the model’s face shape and features slowly get more and more disfigured as the lens on the camera is changed to different MM (millimetres).
So as you can see different lenses can make you look totally different and distort you and the setting around you! I had no idea till now! I honestly am going to range my camera lens distortion to about the image of the 35_mm lens, while in reality when I look in the mirror I feel I look about a 70-100 _mm lenses. I even feel My camera can make me look like the 24_mm lens! So bad! Like common…..
I easily can say my camera is probably the worst camera for a blogger to own… Legit. I am so not encouraged to blog with photos of myself because it just makes me look so unattractive. Especially to me who see’s what I normally look like in the mirror everyday! Or I do my makeup all great and I feel I look great, then I go to take pictures for blog posts and suddenly my face looks all weird! Like wtf so frustrating!
I am not saying I need/want a super expensive camera! I am just saying I need one that will give good quality and wont distort the human face! ๐ I don’t even need great or spectacular quality! Just good quality! So instead 2 years ago I blew a whopping over $300 on a camera that I hardly use because it makes me ugly! Such a waist….. I should sell it but no one is gonna buy it because it is 3 years old and no one wants 3 year old technology! ๐
