The truth is I've been back from Japan for some ti

The truth is I've been back from Japan for some time now. I've without a doubt been having post-japan depression 😭 aside from all the catching up on work I initially had to do, being back in the isolation of where we live has been a sort of reverse culture shock. After almost two months of being connected again to society, with the freedom to go where I please, when I want it, the return home has not been mentally easy.

Just another reminder of my core values in life. 🧡 returning to Japan and for such a long period of time was a true blessing. It was full of many highs and happy moments. Of course, nothing is perfect, and there were moments of sad realizations and down days, but all in all, it was the best 🫶🏻

I'm feeling this wave of mental drain is coming to an end, and all the japan vlogs and content will be in abundance 🫶🏻

One of the best things about tokyo is the walking! You can walk quite literally anywhere with ease! 🌸 30 minute walk? No problem! 1 hour walk? Easy!

The city is designed with walking in mind. Compared to most places North America, where you need a car to go anywhere, tokyo is the true meaning if freedom and accessibility 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

You know I hate crowds, fellow introverts, rejoice! 🫶🏻🇯🇵 This japanese traditional garden in sumida city is perfect to avoid crowds & enjoy the beautiful scenery!

🍵 & a traditional tea house!

Of course, the best less crowded areas are usually not free to enter. This garden was around ¥400 ($3) to enter but is 100% worth it for a peaceful experience.

In the country side of Gunma in the Shima Onsen town, this tradition ryokan was a beautiful stay.

English friendly and fully open to those with tattoos, this ryokan experience is any easy luxury experience.

With direct bus service from Tokyo station, or take an adventure and get there by trains like we did.

With luxury traditions coursed dinner & breakfast, optional kame room with your own private in suite bath.

Plus, 3 private onsens for rykan guests only!

He had booked this ryokan back in 2019, and now finally got to go. An experience I can not wait to do again 🫶🏻
