This homemade salad of mine really is tasty to the bite! Its filled with a tonne of health benefits not only from the baby spinach but from the feta and beats as well !! Beats are filled with health benefits and are a good antioxidant. ๐ want some quick info on beats? Here you go:
Vitamin A : 20 I.U. Thiamine : .02 mg
Riboflavin : .05 mg Niacin : .4 mg
Vitamin C : 10 mg. Calcium : 27 mg.
Iron : 1.0 mg. Phosphorus : 43 mg.
Fat : .1 gm. Carbohydrates : 9.6 gm.
Protein : 1.6 gm. Calories : 42

Now time for the recipe!
- Baby Spinach
- 1 or 2 baby beats (canned)
- 2 tablespoons crumbled Feta Cheese ( helps to promote abdominal fat loss)
- 1 tablespoon roughly chopped pecans or almonds
- Sprinkle with flaxseeds if desired
For dressing, Mix the following separate from salad in a measuring cup or small bowl.
- 2 tablespoons EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar if desired
- Pinch of pepper if desired ๐
