Yesterday I tried to record a new haul video and my camera was just…… mentally challenged or something.
It was horrible. I don’t know how to properly explain what was happening but basically the record option didn’t record right.
Taking pictures and everything worked perfectly but as soon as I hit record, the recording would just lose it’s mind. The screen would flicker like crazy and my ISO or something would be going wild. Going from white out to black out. When it would even capture footage it would have an annoying flickering white bar at the bottom of the recording. Eventually the white bar took over the whole screen. The more times I would try to record the worse it got to the point where all that flickering and white bar stuff was happening plus stuff was purple and red and blue. Even at default settings. I did 2 hours of research of what was going on and nothing was right.
The videos even uploaded like this… so I knew it wasn’t just my screen.
I eventually got so frustrated that I went down and complained to my dad and he was shocked and said it must be an image sensor that is faulty or the mirror thing in the inside isn’t working correctly while in record mode.
Either way. I had to send my baby in for repair after owning it for just over a month. Which sucks! I have barely gotten to use it and it randomly is broken :S Plus I have never dropped or hit it off anything and any time I wasn’t using it, it was in a protective bag.
sooooo, as you can imagine I was extremely pissed off. Hopefully they can fix it because my dad spent a lot of money on it for Christmas.
My brand new Nikon D3100 is faulty with recording…. Great.
This means no photos or videos till I get it shipped back to me ๐
